Myspace Layouts

1. Choose the Myspace Layout you would like to use on your profile. For this I will be using the blue layout featuring 'The Strokes'. Click on the thumbnail of your chosen layout.

2. The preview page of the layout will open in a new window. In the 'Who I'd like to meet' section, there will be a box with the code for the chosen layout in it. Click on the code, it will select all of it, and right click inside the box and choose 'Copy' (or press Ctrl + C).

3. Log into your myspace, click 'Edit Profile'. Paste the layout code into your 'About Me' section by right clicking inside the box and selecting 'Paste', or pressing Ctrl + V. Click 'Save All Changes' and view your profile to see your hot new Myspace Layout in action!

When you sign up with myspace, each account is allocated a unique string of numbers called a Friend ID. This number unique to your myspace account. You can use this number when you use certain myspace tools and myspace code generators. Which is why you're probably on this page, because you need to know how to find your friendid.

When you login to myspace, click on the "View My Profile" link. In the URL section of the browser, you will see a URL like the one in the picture above. Your FriendID is the number area in blue in the image above. Your number will be different to what is above, but you should be able, from that, to work out what you're one is.

1. Choose your graphic. There will be a box with the code below it. Click anywhere inside the box and it will automatically select all the code.

2. Right click on the selected code inside the box below your chosen graphic and click on 'Copy', or press Ctrl + C.

3. Log into your myspace, click 'Edit Profile'. Choose the section you want the graphic in. Right click inside this chosen section (eg. 'About Me') and select 'Paste'. Click 'Save All Changes' and view your profile. Your hot new graphic should be there!
